Loan Accountant

Join our team as a Loan Accountant where you will play a pivotal role in providing essential loan accounting support to our regional teams and serving as a resource for our loan accounting system. Day in the life of Loan Accountant/Senior Loan Accountant

• Work with key vendors to set up processes and DNA protocols for our conversion to DNA in spring 2025.
• Assist with the DNA set up for processing of loan servicing transactions, including corrections, payment misapplications, internal restructures, amortizations, assumptions, extensions, conversions, acquisitions, payoff compromises, accelerations, foreclosures, land contract amendments, and changes in payment frequency.
• Assist with the DNA set up for branch loan processes, including checks & branch deposit adjustments processing.
• After DNA conversion, provide loan accounting system support for our team members and/or vendors regarding issues with assigned loan accounting responsibilities in accordance with department and organizational policies and procedures. Respond to and resolve complex issues and situations. Work closely with team members to ensure the loan issue is completely resolved in an accurate and timely manner so as to minimize potential customer concerns.

What Experience do you bring?

• HS Diploma or Equivalent required
• 3 years’ experience in a loan accounting or loan servicing environment is required
• 3 years’ experience working with the Fiserv DNA loan accounting system in a loan origination or servicing capacity required
• Added Experience for Senior
  • 7 years loan accounting and/or servicing experience required.
