    Post Funding Specialist

    This position will be responsible for daily post fundings adjustments related to Correspondent TPO Originations (closed loans). These responsibilities will include working closely with the Servicing, Treasury, Accounting, Custodian and Capital Markets delivery group to build and maintain a sound post funding adjustment process. The salary range for this role is $55,000 to $60,000; however, Bayview considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, location and key skills.
    Responsibilities:
    Other essential duties include, but are not limited to:

    • Monitor the Post Funding Adjustments mailbox
    • Work with our servicers to resolve borrower escrow/payment issues at time of transfer
    • Verify check and wire registries to ensure payments were sent for post funding adjustment requests
    • Assist the funding team in creating HFA daily reports
    • Assist the funding team in return wires and confirming loans
    • Work with Accounting to clear reconciling items due to funding issues or post funding adjustments.
    • Work with clients to resolve post funding adjustments and funding differences.
    • Scan and deposit Lakeview checks
    • Daily mail – sort and distribute
    • Develop, document and implement policies and procedures for the unit.
    • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external counterparts.
    • Proactively seek opportunities for both process and performance improvement.
    • Effectively manage risk within the department.
