Title: Loss Mitigation Processor

Reports to: Loss Mitigation Processing Team Lead

Job Type: Clerical – Non-Exempt – Full Time

Job Purpose: Responsible for intake and processing of all company loss mitigation files.

Key Responsibilities:

• Intake new files through the secure File Transfer Portal, client portals or via email.
• Accurately input data into internal system and monitor deadlines
• Review each Loss Mitigation file to determine if all the baseline documentation has been provided
• Prepare additional information or acknowledgement letters, as applicable.
• Retrieve and log requested information for all loss mitigation applications.
• Ensure each loss mitigation application adheres to the applicable federal, Government agency, Insurer, and Investor guidelines.
• Attend all department trainings, webinars, or other department meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality standards that protect the borrower’s private data.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and Adobe
• Attention to Detail and Accuracy
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong sense of urgency and meeting challenging deadlines
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work in a paperless environment.

Minimum Experience and Education Requirements:

• High school degree (or equivalent) required, some college preferred.
• Knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA default servicing guidelines preferred
• Knowledge of loss mitigation underwriting preferred
• Mortgage Servicing experience preferred.

Decision Making Authority:

• Some independent decision making with team support

Salary - $18-$20/hr

Background Check Required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
