We are currently looking for a Servicing Manager who will mentor and coach our Servicing Department, overseeing BSA, Servicing, Collections and Automated teams. This is an excellent position for an individual that is looking to make a difference with our credit union and members. Essential Duties include:
- Responsible for the Servicing Department, ensuring seamless and efficient operations while upholding a steadfast commitment to delivering exceptional service to credit union members and co-workers.
- Review and manage disputed credit bureau accounts, making corrections in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
- Manage and prepare documentation for IRS levies, garnishments, and State & Child Support enforcement.
- Handle the input and update of charge-off accounts into Chex Systems
- Take charge of the development, administration, and compliance of BSA/AML, The US Patriot Act, OFAC and all related programs, Conduct the annual BSA/AML/OFAC risk assessment.
- Initiate, develop, maintain, and revise policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Communicate changes effectively and ensure implementation across impacted departments or the organization.
- Knowledgeable in managing debit and credit card disputes and conducting general ledger reconciliation.
- Manage, coach and mentor the Servicing Department, optimizing their performance and supporting their professional development. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance department efficiency and member satisfaction.
Education, Experience and Required Skills:
- Three to five years of servicing, collections and/or automated experience in the bank/credit union industry. Prior credit union and manager experience is a must. Associate degree in a related field preferred (3-5 years of credit union management experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree).
- Attention to details, support the credit union’s mission, vision, and core values
- Excellent listening skills, verbal/written communication skills, manage, coach and have a professional appearance and manner.
- Must have an outgoing personality, ability to work independently, strong critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
