Consumer Loan Servicing Supervisor supervises the daily activities of a loan servicing team. Oversees and coordinates processing and documenting loan transactions, insurance, and tax bills, and performing escrow analysis. Being a Consumer Loan Servicing Supervisor ensures that loan transaction files are accurate and complete, and that staff complies with appropriate procedures, regulations, and guidelines. Performs quality checks and resolves issues. Additionally, Consumer Loan Servicing Supervisor monitors workload and allocates resources to meet production goals. Coaches and trains team. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a senior manager or head of a unit/department. The Consumer Loan Servicing Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Summary: The Servicing Department services consumer and commercial loans. This includes reviewing and verifying that the closing documents are in compliance with Bank policy and Banking regulations and the Bank’s collateral is perfected. In addition, Loan Servicing is responsible for ensuring the loan information is entered and maintained correctly within the Core system for the life of the loan.
