Performs quality checks and resolves issues. Additionally, Consumer Loan Servicing Supervisor monitors workload and allocates resources to meet production goals. Coaches and trains team. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a senior manager or head of a unit/department. The Consumer Loan Servicing Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Consumer Loan Servicing Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Job Summary
The Loan Servicing Coordinator I will oversee daily life of loan servicing for all small business and commercial loans. This position manages time and meets deadlines under pressure.
Essential Functions
- Complete new loan set-up and funding
- Post loan transactions for all product types
- Perform loan maintenance in the core system as needed or directed
- Complete work to meet the established service level agreements and benchmarks
- Prepare and process payoff quotes and payoff transactions
- Respond to customer inquiries with exemplary customer service in the established timeframe
- Process loan Line of Credit Renewals
- Ensure total document and data integrity attributes to comply with CECL data points
- Monitor and reconcile reports as they apply to commercial loans and perform follow up as necessary with internal business partners
- Reconcile of General Ledger accounts and daily balancing
- Prepare applicable release documents as needed
- Establish and maintain loan collateral records in the core system
- Process the paid commercial loan report
- Responsible for daily balancing
- Provide back-up support to Collateral and Origination areas
- Ensure compliance with Northwest’s policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations
- Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency
- Work as part of a team
- Work with on-site equipment
- Complete special projects upon request
- Remain current on all pending and proposed regulatory changes affecting compliance and attend webinars/trainings covering regulatory and compliance issues
Experience Education preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s degree
- Customer service experience
- Commercial of Small Business Loan experience
