Consumer Loan Servicing Supervisor supervises the daily activities of a loan servicing team. Oversees and coordinates processing and documenting loan transactions, insurance, and tax bills, and performing escrow analysis. General Purpose and Scope (Summary): This entry level position is responsible for providing loan servicing customer support. The primary responsibilities include answering incoming emails and phone calls from borrowers which can range from questions after closing to post purchase. | |||
Responsibilities/Functions: - Perform interim servicing payment follow-up - Follow-up on delinquent payments - Assist borrowers with post closing questions including payments and escrow disbursements - Provide payment histories and payoff statements, as needed - Insurance Servicing mail | |||
Personal Traits / Competencies: - Good oral and written communication skills. - Must be customer service oriented. - Attention to detail - Ability to solve problems effectively - Fluent in Spanish is a plus | |||
Technical / Computer Skills: - Knowledge on moving documents electronically via e-mail etc. - Proficient using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook - General knowledge of the mortgage industry with specific knowledge of loan servicing, a plus. - Experience with our loan operating system; Encompass, a plus | |||
Education and Experience: - A business degree is desirable but not necessary; alternatively, a high school diploma or equivalent - Mortgage servicing experience - Customer service experience | |||
Hours for position: M-F 9am-5pm This position may require frequent additional hours, at times on a daily basis; must be available to work additional hours on short notice as determined by management to meet customer service and investor requirements | |||
