Consumer Loan Servicing Supervisor supervises the daily activities of a loan servicing team. Oversees and coordinates processing and documenting loan transactions, insurance, and tax bills, and performing escrow analysis. Being a Consumer Loan Servicing Supervisor ensures that loan transaction files are accurate and complete, and that staff complies with appropriate procedures, regulations, and guidelines. Performs quality checks and resolves issues. Additionally, Consumer Loan Servicing Supervisor monitors workload and allocates resources to meet production goals. Coaches and trains team. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a senior manager or head of a unit/department. The Consumer Loan Servicing Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Consumer Loan Servicing Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     A well-known company in Pensacola is looking for a full-time Consumer Loan Account Specialist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to be a part of a dynamic supportive working environment.

    What you’ll be doing to make an impact:
    • Researches multiple resources to investigate the nature of the inquiry; analyzes/interprets account information;
    • Resolves and adjusts account discrepancies, within authorized limits; calculates accrued loan interest; corrects/updates accounts in online systems; and coordinates account adjustments with Data Control and General Accounting
    • Applies financial institution regulations and Navy Federal policies/procedures to ensure compliance with banking laws and regulations to minimize financial risk to the organization
    • May participate in ad hoc projects
    • Processes requests for loan adjustments, payment reversals, and miscellaneous account transactions
    • Processes requests for recurring payments; determines requests are appropriate and funds are distributed to the correct accounts
    • Researches entries, determines appropriate action, adjusts accounts, corrects errors, and notifies the appropriate areas
    • Performs other related duties as assigned
    What you’ll bring to the table:
    • Prior experience at a financial institution preferred but not required.
    • Ability to process transactions with accuracy.
    • Ability to work accurately and effectively with numbers and performing basic mathematical calculations.
    • Ability to interpret regulations, instructions, and procedures.
    • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Familiarity with PCs including word processing, database, and spreadsheet applications.
