Consumer Payment Processing Clerk jobs in Corvallis, OR

• Receives incoming disclosure request from Broker via TRID Application form. Reviews the TRID Application form for completeness and compliance with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).
• Point of contact with broker to ensure all required documentation has been received to issue the Initial Loan Estimate.
• Locks in the interest rate if the Broker has included a request to lock with the TRID Application.
• Issues the Loan Estimate and includes the ODVA disclosure package to borrower(s) within the 3- day allowance set by CFPB.
• Files all documentation within the system of record, Calyx Doc Management folder.

• Primary point of contact for communication between Broker, Underwriter and Title company to process a mortgage credit file from initial file submission through closing.
• Review incoming file for completeness and compliance with State and Federal guidelines.
• Prepare file for underwriting.
• Work closely with Broker to obtain all underwriting conditions for re-submission to underwriting for final review.
• Once the file receives Final Underwriting Approval it is time to issue the Closing Disclosure following CFPB guidelines.

• Work closely with Broker, Escrow / Title companies to obtain information necessary to issue the Closing Disclosure in compliance with Consumer, Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) guidelines.
• Prepare and send Closing Documents with check for funding to the Escrow / Title Company for borrower (s) signature and work closely with Escrow/ Title to ensure all documents are executed correctly and that all prior to funding conditions have been met.
• Review original signed documents for completion, accuracy, and compliance and submit the required accounting forms to accounting to process and bridge the loan for servicing.
• If applicable, prepare a Final Closing Disclosure to balance with the final Settlement Statement signed at closing.
• Mail Welcome Letter with Payment coupons and the Final Closing Disclosure to borrower(s) no later than 15 days prior to first payment due date.
• Follow up for final post- closing trailing documents, ie: Original Recorded Deed of Trust with Addendum and the Final Title Policy.
• Prepare file for compliance review.

• Must be able to pass a background check.
