Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Maintenance to oversee and manage the maintenance operations of our organization. The Director of Maintenance will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance of our facilities, equipment, and systems. This is a leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage a team. Duties: - Develop and implement maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure optimal performance and reliability of facilities, equipment, and systems - Manage and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed - Conduct regular inspections and assessments of facilities to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs or improvements - Coordinate with vendors and contractors for outsourced maintenance services or specialized repairs - Oversee the implementation of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders, schedule preventive maintenance tasks, and maintain accurate records - Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards related to facility maintenance - Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement energy conservation initiatives - Develop and manage the maintenance budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities - Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in maintenance management Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred - Proven experience in maintenance management or a similar role - Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications - Familiarity with HVAC systems, logic controllers, and other building automation systems - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Proficient in using CMMS software for work order management and asset tracking - Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions - Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including healthcare and retirement plans.
