    Job Summary and Qualifications

    As a Quality and Risk Management Specialist is responsible for assisting with the quality and risk management functions of the hospital with a specific focus on patient safety. Our team is amazing, we consider ourselves a family who work hard to support each other and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

    In this role:

    • You will assist with data collection, data entry, analysis of data, and compilation of reports in various computer systems and databases
    • You will have be involved with medical record review, chart reviews, data analysis and compilation of reports as assigned.
    • You will assist with the execution of the Quality, Risk, and Patient Safety hospital plans and the development of performance improvement projects or tasks as assigned
    • You will assist with preparation for regulatory surveys and action that may result from those surveys.
    • You will assist with the SEA/RCA process, Occurrence Reporting process, and the Clinical Safety Improvement Program initiatives.
    • You will utilize knowledge and research in the development of evidence-based initiatives.
    • You will identify and develops tools and techniques that simplify work, improve communication and make processes more reliable and consistent.
    • You will Identify and responding to variances in data.
    • You will assist with regulatory compliance (CMS, Joint Commission.

    What qualifications you will need:

    • BSN or equivalent required
    • Minimum of 3 years of acute clinical experience
    • Current Idaho RN License or compact
    • Experience in data collection and statistical analysis preferred.
    • Must demonstrate ability to work well with patients/families, nursing, and ancillary staff, and physicians.
