Quality Assurance and Contracts Manager

  • The Children’s Advocacy Center of SW Florida (CAC) is a busy non-profit agency located in Fort Myers serving Lee, Charlotte, Hendry, and Glades Counties. At CAC, we offer abuse determination services for children as well as therapeutic counseling, parenting education, and prevention programs.
     
    CAC is seeking a qualified Full Time Quality Assurance and Contracts Manager. 
    This position maintains overall responsibility of the quality assurance improvement plan, related quality planning activities and contract/grant compliance. Ensures the agency is consistently providing best practices and compliance with operating policies/procedures. Assists in developing policies for improved quality through the agency and with management.  Assists in defining and promoting a quality mindset across the entire agency while working with cross-departmental leadership to deliver timely customer service and accurate agency reporting. Supports continuous improvement plans.

    Job Duties Include but not limited to;
    • Gather and tabulate all statistical data for all agency programs.
    • Maintain compliance with all contracts, grants, and other funding sources to include submitting all monthly and quarterly reports. 
    • Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. 
    • Obtain and maintain NCA re-accreditation. 
    • Develop and maintain quality improvement plan. 
    • Conduct chart/file reviews for all agency programs, including CPT, Family Alliance, Family Advocacy and Prevention.
    • Prepare and analyze monthly management and performance reports, statistics, and critical incidents. 
    • Assist in developing and managing effective system of oversight for all programs to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
    • Conduct training within the organization and in the community.
    • Verify importance of effective strategies for improvement designed to measure and improve outcome measures. 
    • Serve as Single Point of Access. 
    • Maintain and update agency documents as needed. 
    • Write or assist in submission of grant applications. 
    • Responsible for electronic record keeping & training for all new staff.
    • Ensure staff compliance with contracted training requirements.
    • When assigned, responds promptly to client complaints. 
    • Assist in preparing for audits.
    • Monitors compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and prepares reports and action plans to address deficiencies. 
    • Responsible for client record management and record requests 
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 
    • A bachelor’s degree is required from an accredited college or university in social work, mental health, psychology, or a related field. Master’s preferred. 
    • Three years’ experience in administering contracts/programs, or quality management.
     
    All employees of Children’s Advocacy Center of SW Florida are required to pass a background check and drug screen before they begin work with the agency and sign an affidavit of good moral character within their first 30 days of employment at CAC.  If deemed necessary, more extensive background checks or criminal history may be requested
