Contact Center Representative - Inbound answers incoming customer calls inquiring about products with a focus on selling products or services. Performs call logging and routine tasks to fulfill caller requests. Being a Contact Center Representative - Inbound answers inquiries regarding the company products, services, delivery, installation, or billing following scripts or standard responses. Enters orders and assists the customer with the purchase by suggesting appropriate products. Additionally, Contact Center Representative - Inbound may redirect calls to other teams depending on the nature of the inquiry. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Contact Center Representative - Inbound works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Description
First New York Federal Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Specialist- Contact Center (MSS) position in our Contact Center located in Colonie, NY.
Previous financial branch experience in a credit union or bank is preferred. The MSS provides credit union services to members via telephone, internet, and mail.
This is a full-time position for an individual with outstanding customer service, writing and communication skills.
Requirements
- Account servicing.
- Referring consumer and real estate loans to the Loan Sales team.
- Cross-selling products/services to benefit the member’s needs.
- Promoting e-banking and meeting Contact Center goals.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.25/ hour- $19.25/ hour
Work location: In person
Schedule:
Monday 8:30am- 6pm
Tuesday 8:30am- 6pm
Wednesday 8:30am- 6pm
Thursday 8:30am- 5pm
Friday OFF
Saturday 8:45am- 1:00pm
