Contact Center Representative - Inbound answers incoming customer calls inquiring about products with a focus on selling products or services. Performs call logging and routine tasks to fulfill caller requests. Being a Contact Center Representative - Inbound answers inquiries regarding the company products, services, delivery, installation, or billing following scripts or standard responses. Enters orders and assists the customer with the purchase by suggesting appropriate products. Additionally, Contact Center Representative - Inbound may redirect calls to other teams depending on the nature of the inquiry. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Contact Center Representative - Inbound works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. • Answers calls and greets members appropriately according to MCC monitoring and coaching standards, provides general information regarding Credit Union products and services, handles a high volume of calls.
• Identifies problems and/or provides member support; addresses member concerns and works with the member to resolve.
• Assists members with existing loan questions.
• Coordinates resolutions with Lending for payment options and research.
• Refer Debit & Credit/ATM issues including fraud to Card Services/Disputes & Loss Prevention departments. Handles debit card/ATM issues, including fraud, blocking/unblocking and replacing, releasing debit card holds, and increasing limits on debit cards after hours.
• Refers loan applications to the ELC.
• Cross Service credit union products and participates in campaign referrals.
• Processes lost/stolen drafts, check orders, statement/check copies, stop payments, account warnings and Red Flag issues.
• Assists members with inquiries concerning ACH, Bank by Phone, Online Banking, Bill Pay, eStatements, & eAlerts.
• Makes phone transfers, provides balances and address changes over the phone.
• Update correspondence dates for dormant accounts.
• Back-up to the Switchboard Operator.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
