Contact Center Representative - Inbound answers incoming customer calls inquiring about products with a focus on selling products or services. Performs call logging and routine tasks to fulfill caller requests. Being a Contact Center Representative - Inbound answers inquiries regarding the company products, services, delivery, installation, or billing following scripts or standard responses. Enters orders and assists the customer with the purchase by suggesting appropriate products. Additionally, Contact Center Representative - Inbound may redirect calls to other teams depending on the nature of the inquiry. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Contact Center Representative - Inbound works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.     Job Location - St. Petersburg, FL

    Responsibilities:

    • Provides information on customer service issues related to life and health insurance, annuity and investment products and transactions focusing on customer satisfaction, quality, and efficiency.
    • Communicates with customers regarding service requests or problems.
    • Documents, evaluates and resolves customer’s inquiries.
    • Works with other departments to complete customer requests and minimize escalations.
    • Represents our customer with professional pride to internal and external customers.
    • Consistently meets/exceeds set quality and productivity metrics.
    • Functions within a team based environment, and actively participates in achieving team goals.

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
    • Minimum 1 year of experience with call center or customer service experience/training.
    • Fundamental computer knowledge and maneuverability within window applications.
    • Basic understanding of Microsoft office suite, specifically Word and Excel.
    • General understanding of life and health insurance, annuity, and investment products is a plus.

    Behavioral and Leadership Competencies

    • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of customer and company information.
    • Ability to work independently and seek additional opportunities when able.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
