Contact Center Representative (Incl. Selling) makes and receives calls primarily focused on selling and promoting products or services. Responds to customer inquiries using standard scripts, dialogues, or talking points. Being a Contact Center Representative (Incl. Selling) processes routine requests for information or services and transfers complex requests to support teams. Obtains new orders and closes pending sales for products or services. Additionally, Contact Center Representative (Incl. Selling) identifies opportunities to upsell additional products and tracks prospect interactions in the system. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Contact Center Representative (Incl. Selling) works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience. The Contact Center Representative (Basic Support) is responsible for receiving inbound calls from the membership, providing information and credit union services through interaction with the members over the telephone.
What are we looking for? The good news is that your training will teach you everything you need to know to succeed on the job. But there are a few skills you should have from the beginning:
Department Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Employees scheduled for Saturday hours will have one full day off during the week. Contact Center is closed on Sunday. This is a full time position totaling 40 hours per week.
Receive inbound calls from the membership. Must be knowledgeable of all credit union services, various departments, etc. to answer questions from the membership and other outside contacts. Must be able to question the member to obtain a full understanding of the member’s needs and assist with transferring the call to another employee/department if necessary.
