Job Description: AAA Northway is seeking a full-time call center representative to join our team. This is a work-from-home position that involves taking phone calls from AAA members and assisting them with their needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be comfortable working with phone systems and software, and have the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:
1. Provides telephone service to members regarding a variety of services to include emergency road service, auto travel, membership, TripTik® orders, DIP schedules, travel store items, and other related requests.
2. Gathers appropriate information to determine type of service required and other standard information to provide service; requires use of various software to respond appropriately.
3. Verifies memberships in computer.
4. Maintains a high level of knowledge regarding products and services to provide Ultimate Customer Satisfaction.
5. Sells and renews memberships, explaining member benefits in detail.
6. Suggests and cross-sells other related items such as cell phones, financial products, traveler’s checks, international driver’s permits, passport photos, attraction tickets, and travel store merchandise through referral to local office or 800# for assistance.
7. Inventories, stocks, assembles, collates, copies and maintains products and materials.
8. Deals with emergency situations in a professional manner, ensuring that the member is safe and taking any necessary precautions (examples: expediting service; contacting police; calming member; etc.).
9. Assists members with travel questions and/or refers questions to Travel Agency when appropriate.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
