Position Summary:
The Coach is responsible in assisting the Supervisor in managing a high performing team responsible for handling product safely, efficiently and effectively as it moves through the facility. When monitoring production volume, the Coach assigns Team Members to tasks as needed. The Coach must respond quickly to changing workflow conditions and contribute positively to the facility’s key performance indicators. This person must be able to mentor and build a culture of safety among Team Members to achieve a safe working environment. The coach must live out the Core Values of Cumberland Farms.
Responsibilities:
1. Focus on production flow to obtain expected run rates
2. Focus on continuous improvement of output processes, process audits and execution of project execution and CAR investigations
3. Works closely with CC Management to ensure prompt efficient and accurate handling of merchandise
4. Monitors the productivity and accuracy of team members.
5. Ensures all team members have specific responsibilities.
6. Coaches and trains team members to ensure competence as well as, prepare them for future opportunities
7. Performs other duties as directed by Management must be trained and certified to operate mechanical equipment
8. Ensures all safety rules and procedures are followed
9. Ensures assigned equipment and work areas are neat, clean and well organized
10. Ensures all Cumberland Farms policies and procedures are implemented and followed.
11. Performs other duties as directed by CC Management
12. Perform cleaning and organizing tasks to focus on material and equipment utilization, trash removal
Working Relationships:
Will be working closely with other Culinary Center teams such as QA, Sanitation, Purchasing Maintenance, Research and Development.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma
Preferred Education: Associates Degree
Minimum Experience: 2-5 years Fast paced management (Food Manufacturing experienced preferred)
Preferred Experience: 5 Years Food Manufacturing supervisory experience

Physical: Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and balance for extended periods of time. Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, and carry cases and totes weighing up to 60 lbs. over the head.
Hours & Conditions: Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, early mornings, nights, long shifts, and holidays.
Other: Adapt schedule to work alongside the changing demands of the warehouse.
Exposure to vibrations, dust, dirt, noise, fumes and chemicals.
Working in hot and cold temperature extremes (extremes vary between 100° Fahrenheit -20° Fahrenheit).
