Contact Center Scheduler is responsible for monitoring the contact center workload and scheduling function. Assists in analyzing contact center patterns, including volumes, trends, attrition rates, and contact center representative productivities. Being a Contact Center Scheduler utilizes the analysis results to forecast contact center workload and builds scheduling plans to meet business objectives. Assists in maintaining and adjusting staffing schedule assignments to maintain contact center key performance indicators. Additionally, Contact Center Scheduler may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Contact Center Scheduler work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Description:
Under the direction of the Customer Service Manager, the Operator Scheduler answers all incoming calls to the Call Center transferring as needed to the appropriate departments, clinics, and staff members or taking detailed messages for follow-up. He/she is responsible for scheduling and canceling appointments, clearing provider schedulers, and working proactively with other physician offices to obtain accurate information for new appointments.

Minimum Education: High school diploma/GED required
Minimum Experience: One year experience with multi-line phone system preferred
Required Licenses/Certifications: N/A
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent telephone and customer service skills. Bilingual in English/Spanish. Attention to detail and very organized. Able to remain calm and maintain focus and concentration under very stressful and demanding conditions. Effectively handles patients, co-workers, and/or visitors with outward displays of emotions, hostility, and anger.
