American Well Services is located in Midland, TX and provides well service rigs for the purpose of workover or completion operations. Along with the well service rigs, AWS offers a wide range of additional wellsite support services including, fluid transfer, fishing and rental services, hot oiling, frac tank rental and wellsite construction. The Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for working with internal and external customers to complete maintenance repairs, requests and scheduled maintenance in a timely manner with minimal disruption to operations. This position plays a critical role within daily operations to ensure inventory is maintained so operations is not disrupted. This will require frequent communication with operation supervisors/managers and vendors with strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily, as well as weekly, with operations for scheduled repairs and maintenance for pumps/swivels.
• Order and maintain appropriate amount of pumps/swivels supplies/parts
• Regular organization and upkeep of warehouse
• Ability to review invoices for accuracy and correct pricing
• Complete proper work order forms via KPA to maintain repair history
• Accurately maintain pump/swivel records, along with all required certifications to support required compliance expectations
• Routinely download and organize data from Swivel Dyno for record keeping
• Maintain appropriate level of inventory of spare pumps/swivels to account for out of service equipment
• Develop, implement and oversee preventative maintenance program for all pumps/swivels
• Follows and supports all AWS HSE policies at all times
• Knows and uses appropriate PPE at all times
• Drives company vehicles over various types of road conditions and terrain, including highways, rural roads including paved and gravel surfaces, and off road situations including two track roads

• Minimum 3 years of experience with scheduling
• Knowledge of parts for Pumps/Swivels, required
• Oilfield knowledge, required
• Inventory management, required
• Prior experience working with computer based workorder system, required
• Prior experience with KPA, preferred
• Able to multi-task in fast paced environment
• Ability to apply critical thinking skills to forecast appropriate levels of inventory
• Communicates effectively and interacts respectfully with others
• Organizational skills, strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite such as Outlook, Excel and Word
• Maintain valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR
• Ability to communicate, read & write in English
• Ability to clear/pass pre-employment screening, testing and job-relevant hiring requirements
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States, as required by law
• Experience working rotational shift work, working in inclement weather, and/or manual labor experience, preferred
• Able to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on routine basis
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and color vision
• Able to deal with wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat/cold
• Work environment may include moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, airborne particles and moderate to loud noise, requiring consistent use of appropriate PPE
