Position Summary (Purpose):

Provide professional, quality services to the patients of BHOSC and the general public in providing appointment scheduling and communication services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accurately, quickly, and courteously receive incoming telephone calls and extract the maximum amount of essential information in a minimum amount of time.
• Accurately and quickly utilize paging system or call forwarding to assist the caller in getting the information that they are requesting.
• Schedule appointments for all providers; knowledge of their protocols.
• Serve as an information resource to the general public.
• Prepare and post new patient packets.
• Associated Responsibilities:

• Input and maintain accurate chart data.
• Accept additional responsibilities when needed.

• Able to speak clearly and concisely.
• Able to communicate effectively with a diverse population.
• Able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to recall details from numerous information resources.
• Be collaborative in working with patients and staff.

Able to use a multi-line phone system.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

• Rapid City, SD: Relocate before starting work (Required)
