The Scheduler for the Outpatient Clinics ensures the cost-effective and efficient flow of communications while assisting patients with appointment scheduling.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education / Licensure / Certification :
High school diploma or GED required with more advanced course work or training highly desirable.
Knowledge :
Three years of experience in automated scheduling in physician office preferred and multi-provider medical office experience highly desired.
Skills :
Superior oral communication skills, with knowledge of medical terminology and spelling accuracy required.
Excellent customer service orientation and proven experience in personnel development and teamwork required.
Comfortable with regularly verifying and processing insurance eligibility and obtaining authorization requests, including verifying personal credentials with external partners to obtain this information (e.
