Contact Center Scheduler, Sr. is responsible for monitoring the contact center workload and scheduling function. Analyzes contact center patterns, including volumes, trends, attrition rates, and contact center representative productivities. Being a Contact Center Scheduler, Sr. utilizes the analysis results to forecast contact center workload and builds scheduling plans to meet business objectives. Maintains and adjusts staffing schedule assignments to maintain contact center key performance indicators. Additionally, Contact Center Scheduler, Sr. may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Contact Center Scheduler, Sr. occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Scheduler
Description:
Use the assigned scheduling system to book outpatient and inpatient appointments
Gather appropriate patient information needed at the time of scheduling
Develop positive relationships with physician office staff and other referral sources
Work quickly and professionally to correct any scheduling conflicts
Confirm daily appointment schedules
Maintain adequate office supplies and forms for departmental use
Maintain an organized record keeping system ensuring all needed information is entered accurately and appropriately
Obtain authorization for tests and procedures when required
Experience/Qualifications:
Must have high school diploma or GED
Medical Terminology, ICD-10 coding and secretary science courses desirable
Must have 2 years of experience in an office or hospital setting where scheduling and secretarial duties are utilized
Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
