Contact Center Team Leader (Includes Selling) jobs in Springfield, IL

Staley Credit Union is seeking to fill a Contact Center Representative position in Decatur, IL or Lafayette, IN. This position is responsible for assisting members with their needs using a variety of channels including answering phones, live online chat, email requests and our interactive website features.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist members both over the phone, through online banking and through Live Chat
• Provide confidential account information to members
• Perform transactions such as transfers and loan payments
• Account maintenance such as name and address changes
• Troubleshooting Visa credit and debit card issues
• Promote other products and services that the credit union offers
• Provide statement copies, historical account summaries, and check copies
• Mobile app, online banking and website support
• Assist the Contact Center Manager with a variety of projects
• Other duties as needed

Skills and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 3 years of experience in call center operations and/or banking preferred
• Customer service and computer skills required
• Ability to communicate, verbally and in writing, in a professional manner when dealing with employees, members, vendors and company contacts
• Strong organization skills, time management skills, multi-tasking skills and attention to detail
