Contact Center Traffic and Scheduling Analyst, Sr. jobs in Bellingham, WA

Overview

The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of patient / client physician orders, pre- authorizations and patient / client visits of physician orders, pre-authorizations and patient / client visits.

Accurate and timely communication of scheduling changes between office and staff. Responsible for matching patient needs with staff talents and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates communications and works effectively between staff, patient / families, vendors, providers
• Completes scheduled work flow by assigning appropriate team members to planned frequency of visits
• Assist agency personnel in the care coordination of patient / client services
• Serves as a liaison between the organization, referral services, patients, clients and personnel
• Assists in identifying opportunities for additional / improved services and methods
• Actively participates in IDT meetings, department meetings, in-service, QAPI activities, and other related activities as appropriate
• Consistently represents Signature Healthcare at Home with integrity and professionalism to all internal and external customers
• Adheres to HIPAA regulations per Company policy and Federal regulations
• Performs other duties and activities as delegated by the Administrator / Clinical Manager

Qualifications / Skillsets

• Minimum two years’ experience in administrative position in healthcare setting
• Minimum one-year experience in scheduling experience in healthcare setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Demonstrates good communications, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities
• Possess a valid driver’s license and insurance in accordance with state and / or organization requirements
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of office technology
