Contact Center Traffic and Scheduling Analyst, Sr. analyzes contact center patterns, including volumes, trends, attrition rates, and contact center representative productivities. Utilizes the analysis results to forecast contact center workload and builds scheduling plans to meet business objectives. Being a Contact Center Traffic and Scheduling Analyst, Sr. ensures customer satisfaction by monitoring, balancing, and redirecting inbound traffic in a timely manner. Collaborates with other teams when overflow occurs, and inbound traffic must be redirected. Additionally, Contact Center Traffic and Scheduling Analyst, Sr. utilizes call volume reports to coordinate and complete capacity planning within the contact center. Evaluates historical and recent performance and statistics to identify trends. Makes recommendations on how to maintain contact center key performance indicators. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Contact Center Traffic and Scheduling Analyst, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.     Job Summary

    This position is a direct report to the Contact Center Solution Architect. Support Analyst is responsible for the operational support of the Contact Center solutions and the PSEG employees that utilize them. Wil utilize all internal application support tools, processes and best practices to ensure employee and organizational goals are achieved while providing secure and stable solutions.

    Job Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include:
    • Overall Solution Health Monitoring to support Operational KPIs and/or metrics
    • Troubleshooting technical issues, including coordination with vendor and internal resource to resolve
    • Talking employee users through a series of actions to resolve their issue or request
    • Execution ownership for Incident and Problem Management
    • Development and maintenance of core documentation and solution artifacts
    • Supporting the roll-out of new features and technologies
    • Participation in change management and deployment support of solution updates


    Job Specific Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related technical field
    • Level of experience required ranges from internship to 4 years of experience within the IT field or an industry with reliance on technical expertise
    • Strong MS Office skills (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access)
    • Self-starter with the demonstrated ability to learn new technical concepts quickly
    • Detail oriented and demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, IT management and staff
    • Ability to work in a 24x7 environment with callout availability required
