Position: Content Creator Student Assistant
This is a part-time, student position, with hours not to exceed 20 per week. Continuation of this
position is contingent upon satisfactory performance and project funding. This is not a state or
federal position. The 20 hour per weekmaximum includes hours worked in all positions.
Positions Available: 1-2
Salary: $18-$20/hourly, dependent on the qualifications of the candidate.
Timeline: January-June 2024 (Six months)
Duties:Content Creators will be supervised by CCRP staff to work the Redwood Region
RISE’s efforts as part of the statewide initiative “California Jobs First” (previously called
“Community Economic Resilience Fund”, or CERF). Content Creators will assist in creating
content andmessaging tomake Redwood Region RISE’s initiative accessible to a lay and
practitioner audience alike, and help foster a shared vision for economic development in
the Region.
ContentWriting & Editing Support
Workwith CCRP’s Communications Associate to create an interactive storymap,
highlighting economic development projects and initiatives within Del Norte, Humboldt,
Lake, Mendocino Counties and Tribal Lands
Workwill consist of the following activities:
Work to understand Redwood Region RISE’s short term and long term communication
strategies, objectives, and activities
the Region to create web and social media content that highlights our diverse
communities’ lived experiences, challenges and opportunities
