The Web Content Marketing Specialist position is responsible for ensuring end-to-end system synchronicity and 100% content compliance for key Distributor customers. This person has an understanding of GS1 standards and how they need to be applied for Digital Asset Management (DAM) and endpoint synchronization. Key responsibilities include:
Computer Generated Imagery (CGI): The Web Content Marketing Specialist is a strong project manager with an even stronger attention to detail. This person will need to partner closely cross-functionally with brand teams to support computer generated imagery (CGI) for our product portfolio, and communicate key timelines and milestones to the extended teams. They will ensure all projects are launched with the required image set based on the Brand Image Playbook and QA all images for consistency, standardization, and naming convention in alignment with GDSN and GS1 standards.
Digital Asset Management (DAM): The person in this role is setting the entire organization up for success by ensuring the assets available are the most current, approved, and available (usage rights management). They will manage the import of new and archival of old images within our Digital Asset Management system and ensure that the extended teams have visibility to the new images for updating the Digital Shelf.
Content Health: Audit, optimize, and maintain best-in-class digital content quality health scorecards across key customers and ensure our products are optimized for the best user experience available. To achieve this, this person ensures the entire content portfolio (images, copy, videos, etc.) is kept up-to-date and accurate and is published on both internal and external platforms in a timely manner.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 3 years in a project management type role, involving managing data, information and heavy complexity.
- Ability to quickly adopt and adapt to web-based development platforms/databases, including various Product Information Management systems (PIMs).
- Knowledge of online content standards databases (such as GS1).
- This person is able to upload and update through various platforms & tools including Nestle platforms such as DevEx, 1 World Sync, Salsify.
EXPERIENCE / REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience in marketing or project management
- Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Strong written communication skills
- Previous experience working with GDSN, websites, and ecommerce platforms
- Project management experience
- Is detail oriented with proficient copy-editing skills
- Ability to multitask and react quickly to changes
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
- Ability to handle complex workload
