With global offices in 6 countries, we organize cultural exchange programs for more than 50,000 participants each year. Our programs include College Study Abroad, Au Pair placement, Camp Counselors and staff, High School Study/Travel, and Insurance services. Since 1964, more than 1.5 million students and teachers have participated in AIFS programs worldwide.

AIFS is looking for a copywriter/content editor to join their dynamic Marketing team.

Duties include: 

• Producing original, clear, and credible copy for multiple audiences and across different platforms including website content (SEO optimized), advertisements, email communications, print materials, press releases and social media 
• Researching competitors and staying on top of market trends 
• Editing existing or provided copy for spelling, grammar, and consistency 
• Liaising with clients and colleagues and meeting project teams to consider advertising requirements 
• Updating and amending campaigns according to feedback 
• Assisting with the creation and upkeep of integrated multi-platform editorial calendar/schedule 
• Updating meta content on websites 

Qualifications

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree 
• A minimum of 3 years of professional writing experience across multiple platforms 
• Works well independently and with a team 
• Hands-on experience with content management systems (i.e., WordPress) 
• Willingness to learn HubSpot  
• Familiarity with SEO optimized content 
• Excellent written communications skills 
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail 
• Creative, self-starter with the ability to work independently 
• Flexible and detail oriented. Able to handle multiple assignments, prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
• Experience with HubSpot a plus.

Work Environment

This job operates in a hybrid environment. AIFS offers a 35-hour work week during the business hours of 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday. The ideal candidate is expected to be in the Stamford, Connecticut office Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and one additional day per month.

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 annually.
