Content Manager - Web manages the overall curation activities required to produce content for web, mobile, and other platforms. Leads the research, coordination, and editorial work of curators and writers. Being a Content Manager - Web ensures that established branding and style guidelines are implemented correctly. Develops relationships with vendors and other sources needed to produce the quantity and quality of required content and negotiate terms and pricing. Additionally, Content Manager - Web designs methodologies used to analyze content consumption data and to define content needs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Content Manager - Web manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. emBold is on the hunt for a new web developer. We have a large variety of clients including ecommerce, manufacturing, entertainment, government, restaurants, law firms, beach properties, doctors, startups, you get the idea. You'd be working with interesting and complex custom web applications, in addition to marketing/ecommerce-based websites. This position may also end up working on our own SaaS product startup. This is a full-time position open to early and mid-level experience, we're focusing primarily on making sure the person is an ideal fit for our small team of 6. We're currently all local to northeast Ohio but have a hybrid working schedule of at least one in-office day a week. We're possibly open to the idea of a fully remote hire but would prefer someone local.
