Content Manager - Web jobs in Fort Lauderdale, FL

The Content Manager is responsible for overseeing online content creation. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our growing online presence and make a significant impact on our digital strategy. This freelance role will require the ability to dedicate 10-20 hours/month and is fully remote.

What you will do:

• Manage content creators who create written and video content for all digital and print platforms
• Oversee online content creation and assignment
• Maintain websites by updating pages, troubleshooting, and ensuring accurate content
• Enforce quality standards, maintaining consistent writing and valuable content
• Support online development and SEO efforts for site visibility
• Work with videographers and/or editors to ensure deadlines are met
• Proofread communications to ensure materials are on brand, aligned with strategy, clear, and error-free

About You:

• You have 7 years of experience in an online content environment
• Prior experience managing others
• Be aware of SEO best practices and be able to assist others in understanding those same elements
• Use content management and other publishing tools (Google Docs, WordPress) for the production, organization, and aggregation of content
• Communicate and work effectively cross-team
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to meeting deadlines
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience with WordPress or other content management systems
• You have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher
