Leads the research, coordination, and editorial work of curators and writers. Being a Content Manager - Web ensures that established branding and style guidelines are implemented correctly. Develops relationships with vendors and other sources needed to produce the quantity and quality of required content and negotiate terms and pricing. Additionally, Content Manager - Web designs methodologies used to analyze content consumption data and to define content needs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Content Manager - Web manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Job Summary:
The Web Content and Strategy Manager oversees the planning, development and management of website content to support the strategic goals of the university, including those related to undergraduate and graduate enrollment, university advancement, and community outreach. This position ensures accessibility, usability, and functionality of the website by target audiences.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer/management information systems, digital media, journalism, marketing, communications, or related field, and a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in web content strategy and management. Client relations skills required.
Experience in a higher education or marketing/communications environment preferred.
