Content Manager - Web jobs in Petersburg, VA

The Content Writer is responsible for delivering high-quality content to our audience through our website and other channels. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our growing online presence and make a significant impact on our digital strategy. This freelance role is fully remote.

What you will do:

• Create compelling and optimized content for various pages on our website
• Write clear, concise, and engaging website pages and blog posts that are optimized for search engines
• Conduct keyword research and integrate targeted keywords seamlessly into the content to improve search engine rankings
• Optimize existing content to improve performance and relevance
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and best practices to ensure our content remains competitive
• Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality content that meets our brand standards
• Research, write/edit and create layouts for new content/articles
• Proofread content on the website, make improvements, come up with new ideas for pages

About You:

• You have 5 years of experience in content writing, with a focus on SEO
• Proven track record of producing high-quality website content and blog posts that drive organic traffic and engagement
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Ability to conduct thorough keyword research and incorporate keywords strategically into content
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to meeting deadlines
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience with WordPress or other content management systems
• You have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher
