Position Summary

Assists the Speaker/Director with functions and duties as enumerated below.

Authority & Accountability:

Authority as delegated by the Speaker/Director responsible for representing the ministry as needed in social media for Spanish content - in accordance with Adventist Media Center and Executive Board policy and objectives.

Essential Job Functions:

• Social media content creation in Spanish
• Public Interaction on social media platforms
• Public speaking, communication, and writing skills
• Collaboration with Speaker/Director and office staff

Job Specifications

Qualifications, Scope, and Complexity of duties:

• Education: Degree in theology or religion
• Experience: Minimum of two years ministry-related experience
• Member in good standing with the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
• Skills, scope, and complexity of duties:
  • Spanish speaking
  • Necessary public speaking skills to sufficiently handle the job assignment
  • Good comprehension of social media venues and organizational skills
  • Good comprehension of public evangelism and Seventh-day Adventist doctrinal teachings
  • Ability to exercise direction, independent judgment, make decisions, and assume responsibility
  • Good personal relationship skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to urgent projects or unusual situations

• Working Conditions:
  • General working conditions of an office and production studio
  • Physical requirements: requires standing, walking, time at desk, reaching, climbing, and lifting (maximum of 50 lbs.)
