About the Role

Lou Fusz Automotive Network has a unique opportunity for a UX Web Designer and Developer. If you have a passion for user experience web design and front-end development, you are detail-oriented, a self-starter, a team player, have a strong work ethic, and enjoy designing graphics, then we want you! This position is in-person only and relocation assistance is not available.

Must have outstanding proficiency in HTML5/CSS3, USER EXPERIENCE DESIGN CONCEPTS AND METHODOLOGIES, AND EXCELLENT WRITING SKILLS. In this position, you will be doing Web Design, Front-End Web Development, and writing daily. You will also be creating graphics for websites and social media.

Responsibilities

• Develop user-friendly responsive website pages based on research.
• Build SEO websites utilizing keywords.
• Create written and graphic content to be utilized on websites and social media.
• Troubleshoot and fix issues pertaining to all websites
• Work with 3rd party vendors which directly impact website functionality with vehicle and pricing feeds as needed.
• Create and design website banners based on specific parameters with detailed information that follows specific compliance rules
• Place created banners on websites and various social media platforms with embedded link tracking.
• Work with the Adobe Creative Suite. Primary programs utilized are Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver
• Create HTML newsletters from scratch with graphics and detailed content.
• Shoot employee photos and edit in Photoshop and place them on various websites and 3rd party vendor sites.
• Ability to write and edit articles to be published on websites and social media platforms.
• Ability to be adaptive to take on various projects pertaining to eCommerce and websites as needed
• Create social media posts across multiple platforms.
  

Qualifications

• Link to portfolio must be provided on resume and/or cover letter to be considered.
• Must have excellent UX Web Design skills and the ability to create wireframes and high-fidelity mockups.
• Must be able to code in HTML5/CSS3 and have a working knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery.
• Must have excellent writing skills.
• Must have proficient graphic design skills.
• Fluent understanding of all programs in the Adobe Creative Suite. Primary programs used Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Ability to create and design responsive web pages and newsletters using responsive HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience utilizing WordPress.
• Strong knowledge of SEO.
• Must be detail-oriented and well organized.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude.
• Available to work flexible hours
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
