Leads the research, coordination, and editorial work of curators and writers. Being a Content Manager - Web ensures that established branding and style guidelines are implemented correctly. Develops relationships with vendors and other sources needed to produce the quantity and quality of required content and negotiate terms and pricing. Additionally, Content Manager - Web designs methodologies used to analyze content consumption data and to define content needs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Content Manager - Web manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Content Manager - Web typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. We’re not every manufacturer. The Opportunity. The Web Content Specialist will assist in managing content and day-to-day updates via Magento (CMS) Admin.
The Job.
- Help Create, Edit and Manage Product Catalog within our CMS platforms
- Will work with business partners, clients (internal and external), project teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to manage content for our customers.
- Responsible for ensuring all customer-facing material is implemented correctly and efficiently and defects are completed per SLA timelines.
- Responsible for reviewing, writing, and managing content requirements.
- Ensure that content and other site features function correctly.
Requirements
· Working knowledge of graphic design, webpage construction, web usability best practices/standards.
· Understanding of HTML, CSS, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and JavaScript. Magento experience a plus.
· Microsoft Excel knowledge
· Ability to multitask
· Self-starter with the ability to work alone or with a team
· 1-2 years of Content Management System experience.
· 1-4 years of Analytics experience
· A/B testing experience
· A passion for digital technologies and an inquiring mind that brings new ideas and new thinking to the organization.
· Resourceful and tenacious to find solutions and drive project to completion.
· Requires some after-hours and/or weekend commitment as projects and website production releases require.
· The individual should be a self-started with strong problem-solving skills.
· Extremely pro-active, anticipating needs and staying out ahead of them.
· Extremely organized with unfailing attention to detail.
· Adept at learning and applying new technologies.
