Job Description

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Packer in our Packing department to contribute to the new growth of our Operations team in Fort Wayne, IN.  

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:30am - 6:00pm

$15.50/hr starting pay and eligible for pay increase after 120 days

What You’ll Do:

• Check for damages and verifies data on customer order including entry number and number of books while packing order
• Determine the proper packing method for various size orders to arrange books in the most compact manner onto corrugated cardboard boxes, t-boards, or flats according to allowable weights for method of shipping
• Push completed orders onto conveyor to continue through shrink wrap machinery

Qualifications

• 6 months continuous work experience
• 6 months work experience which included walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, typing/keyboard

• Plus daily and weekend (including Sundays) overtime, when necessary
