MISSION: The Content and Branding Specialist is responsible for maintaining and improving NuWaves' brand awareness and lead generation through marketing avenues. This includes content creation and management, social media management, website maintenance and improvement, Google AdWords management, and management of advertising through print and digital media. This individual must possess an ability to work with the Business Development team to understand the voice of the customer and customer journey. Additionally, this individual must be able to work with engineers and technicians to translate technical data into marketable content. Some technical knowledge of electrical engineering is a plus.
YEAR 1 ACCOUNTABILITIES AND METRICS
- Demonstrate understanding of NuWaves' market within the first 3 months.
- Metric: Presentation to supervisor.
- Implement effective content generation and social media presence within the first 6 months.
- Metric: Social media engagement and followership, Marketable content created.
- Manage NuWaves' Google AdWords campaigns effectively within the first 6 months.
- Metric: Demonstrate knowledge of AdWords data and effective management of NuWaves' funds through monthly review meetings
- Manage NuWaves' website within first 3 months.
- Metric: Be able to make adjustments to improve SEO and update website as necessary to support marketing initiatives. Identify constraints to achieving website goals and areas for improvement.
- Assume ownership of all marketing and advertising activities within 6 months.
- Metric: Demonstrate understanding of NuWaves' overall strategic direction to supervisor. Create and maintain relationships internally and externally to achieve advertising and marketing goals.
Salary Range: $50K - $75K
U.S. Citizenship is a requirement.
