Summary
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the full-time Content Specialist will be an excellent writer, thorough editor, and nimble PR professional who can move quickly from task to task. A strong candidate must have the ability to create rapid-response communications reacting to an ever-changing news cycle and demonstrate an understanding of issues affecting the LGBTQ and aging communities. The candidate must be able to maintain and grow SAGE’s storyteller database, working closely with our LGBTQ elder constituents, allies, and staff to collect and share their stories. The candidate must also effectively utilize different messaging in SAGE’s various forms of communication and have experience in dealing with online, print, and/or broadcast media.
