JOB SUMMARY:
The Content Manager is responsible for researching relevant travel topics, creating and implementing thoughtful, data-driven content plans, and collaborating with a creative/production team to develop content that translates across print and digital channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates high-quality travel marketing content for multiple platforms.
- Identifies, cultivates, and manages freelance-writer relationships.
- Leverages research, website analytics, SEO tools, client-marketing objectives, and brand positioning to create content calendars, drive strategy, and develop effective content across multiple platforms.
- Successfully employs SEO best practices to drive traffic to content, keeping in mind effective user experience in interactive products.
- Plan and produce content for client’s various content channels, including email marketing, social media and more.
- Presents content strategies and concepts to clients and other internal/external stakeholders.
- Supports other content creators through collaboration on story ideas, copyediting, and proofreading content.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-4 years’ experience in content development preferably with a tourism or features focus.
- Advanced understanding of and continual self-education on marketing best practices.
- Understand and navigate digital-media platforms.
- Proficient with web-content best practices, including SEO, basic HTML, and uploading content into a content management system.
- Possess an engaging writing style, creativity, and excellent attention to detail, along with the ability to shift voices/writing styles for different brands.
- Demonstrate a healthy balance of creative, editorial, and technical skills.
- Ability to review and distill multiple sources of information to support strategy and provide direction.
- Understands consumer behaviors related to travel planning and travel technology.
