SUMMARY: Edits learning solution deliverables to ensure products are clean, concise, consistent, and accessible for the target audience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Ensures end-to-end quality activities, start from the project kick-off to the closure of the project delivered.
* Proofreads learning solution deliverables for spelling, grammar, and punctuation in accordance with relevant style guide
* Ensures deliverables are readable and flow in a logical progression and that graphics, media, tables, and illustrations match and support the text
* Provides feedback and coaching to project team members to create compelling and accessible content.
* Where relevant, ensures adherence to client-provided style guides and branding specifications for preferred styles, conventions, and terminology
* Validates requested changes have been made correctly, including cascading impacts
* Conducts script-to-screen reviews for digital assets to confirm approved source content has been integrated correctly, captions/transcripts have been set up correctly, and the final deliverable is working as expected
* Provides quality reviews of learning solution deliverables to ensure all intended content has been included, the structure is correct, and any client-specific style/standards requirements are met
* Amends straight-forward text issues (e.g., spelling, grammar, and punctuation) or provides recommendations for changes as per assigned project task
* Consults with internal and client teams on style and quality issues and concerns
* Provides status updates on tasks to the project team
* As needed, supports creation of accessible documents and deliverables, adhering to client accessibility requirements
* May review translated courses in different languages to ensure alignment with the original English version, looking out for missing text and text that hasn't been translated
* May support functional testing reviews (e.g., scoring, course completion, navigation, etc.) digital assets
* Periodically discusses professional development and/or technical skills training needs with supervisor; identifies potential learning activities and attends as time and funds allow.
SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
* Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and assignments
* Familiarity with current accessibility standards and guidelines
* Familiarity with standard Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
* Familiarity with common bug tracking tools and practices
* Familiarity with accessibility standards and relevant common tools (JAWS, Color contrast validation tools, etc.)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
General physical requirements needed to perform the essential functions of this job may vary based on location of assignment.
Assignment Location - Remote or Local Office Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
Sedentary work involves remaining stationary for extended periods of time while presenting virtual content.
Fingering (typing), communicating, repetitive motions.
Close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data, view computer monitors, distinguish colors and read. May need to view presentation screens and other visual aids in a virtual classroom.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* HS Diploma or equivalent and 4 yrs relevant experience
* OR Associate's degree or equivalent in relevant field and 2 yrs experience
* OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Journalism, English, Instructional Technology or relevant field
