Content Specialist, Sr. jobs in Gastonia, NC

ALG Senior is seeking an individual who is capable of producing high-quality work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The Content Specialist will be responsible for using informative, engaging and valuable content to support marketing and recruiting initiatives to meet organizational goals. This role will include:

• Use content to align with strategic initiatives to grow our audiences, site traffic, social channels, referral engagement and lead sources through a range of content types which may include blogs, social posts, listings, articles, white papers, email, downloads and more.
• Analyze, update and repurpose content across various channels.
• Plan and maintain quarterly content calendar and schedule.
• Understand audiences, mediums, voice, and brand to produce content that will support growth of market share and increase community visibility.
• Seek opportunities to grow online and offline reputation and brand through market and industry specific pages, blogs, forums and active online/offline presence.
• Help with event planning as needed.

The ideal Content Specialist will have a proactive work ethic, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle tasks no matter how big or small. We are looking for someone with the following qualities:

• Proficiency working as a content expert, preferably with agency and/or healthcare experience
• Profound writing, editorial review, and proofing skills
• Understanding and use of SEO, algorithms, trend tracking and analytics in creation of content
• Has exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Works well in a collaborative setting, yet is able to lead projects independently
• Is able to problem-solve but is not afraid of asking questions
• Organized, multi-tasker with solid project management skills

This will be a full-time, exempt position.
