    Job Description Summary

    The Digital Marketing Specialist (Content) is responsible for creating and executing key elements of each customer's integrated marketing strategy. This includes but is not limited to email marketing campaigns, landing page content creation, blog creation, and social media management.

    This role researches and grasps a range of topics and strategic business goals to produce compelling and accurate content that embodies a customer's brand voice.

    What You'll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)

    • Create and manage engaging content that drives traffic to our customers' websites and optimize the content in order to rank for SEO targeted keywords.
    • Create, proofread, and post engaging, relevant, and accurate content, including but is not limited to static website content, blogs, social media, lead generation, email newsletters, autoresponders.
    • Manage social media platforms for customers by creating and implementing the social media strategy each quarter.
    • Manage website content and ongoing revisions to existing content.
    • Create content and design layout for email marketing campaigns.
    • Develop and follow brand guidelines for each customer. This will involve collaborating with the client and other team members.
    • Consistently hit recurring deadlines for each customer and possess the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while autonomously managing your priority list.
    • Coordinate with Customer Success Manager and Marketing Managers on customer feedback, planned publish schedules, and internal deadlines.
    • Implement SEO team's recommendations in content strategy and make edits where appropriate to existing web pages.
    • Collaborate with other Content Creators & Specialists by sharing ideas and learnings.
    • Assist with training new employees, as well as creating and updating SOPs for the Q4 Knowledge Base.
    • Attend local and state-wide industry events to build skills and represent the company.
    • Assist with developing and delivering Lunch and Learns on critical topics.
    • Work towards achieving Hubspot certifications: Business Blogging, Brand Engagement, Lead Management, Facebook Marketing, Instagram
    • Identify opportunities for improvement to help us get better every day
    Qualifications

    • Savvy and passionate communicator with experience in effectively and efficiently juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • The ability to be a natural storyteller.
    • Requires a self-starter with exceptional time management, creative thinking, and written and oral communication skills.
    • Ability to self-edit content work produced and has a strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with leadership team, fellow employees, and customers.
    • Ability to read, count and write English accurately.
    • Knowledge of online marketing services, social media, and the Internet is required.
    • The ability to type and use word processing software is required.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
    • Understanding of how to analyze data within Google Analytics, MailChimp, and other platforms to measure success.

    • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing or a related field
