Content Specialist, Sr. jobs in Shreveport, LA

Franklin Armory® is expanding and in need of a full-time Digital Marketing Content Specialist.

This role supports the Marketing branch with various tasks such as collaborating on the development and execution of marketing plans, website and social media management, content development, graphic design, video production and editing, and creative campaigns.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Creating and scheduling various digital media for upcoming events

• Designing high quality digital and print marketing collateral for internal and external channels

• Capturing and editing video and photography content for various social media platforms

• Social media posting, optimization, and writing effective/relevant captions

• Maintain a high degree of messaging awareness and accuracy with creative ad copy

• Explore photo, video, and social media styles to leverage trending content strategies

• Responding to social media comments with accurate, cordial, and appropriate responses

• Create and refine email marketing/sales campaigns

• Provide customers with exceptional service in a fast-paced environment

• Assist the Sales and Marketing team on projects as needed

• Assist in creation of internal and external promotional pieces

• Technical support

• Updating marketing and brand collateral with the most up to date changes in general, technical, trademark/IP, and product specification information

• Updating our website with the most current information

• Coordinate several marketing projects in various stages

• Absorb additional duties as assigned

• Exercising judgment and tact, and being able to effectively work and communicate with all levels in the organization

• Maintain adherence to Franklin Armory brand guidelines

• Assist with trade show booth design and graphics

• Answering incoming phone calls and emails

• Answering product questions

Minimum Requirements:

• A positive attitude and meticulous attention to detail are required

• Expert knowledge of Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, Lightroom) or similar creative tools

• Advanced skills in video production and editing for advertising and social media

• Ability to multi-task and simultaneously handle coordination of several events in various stages

• Assist in creation of internal and external promotional pieces

• Able to type at least 35 WPM

• Comfortable interacting with customers on a regular basis

• Strong communication and social skills

• Existing knowledge base with AR platform firearms

• Possess a basic knowledge of patents, trademarks, and branding

• Previous marketing experience in the firearms or outdoor industry a plus

• Filing of sensitive items

• SEO, website design, and analytics experience a plus

• Must maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information

• Ability to make and adapt to changes on the fly

• Previous military and law enforcement is a plus

• Must be able to pass an extensive background check

• Must be legally able to possess a firearm under Nevada and Federal law

• Must pass a drug test

• Abide by company safety policies

• Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Office365, Thunderbird and QuickBooks.

• Must be able to use 10 Key Calculator, and general office equipment

Physical Demands:

• Moderate walking, standing, heavy lifting, carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching

• Work in inside and outside environments with heat, cold, inclement weather, around moving objects, and with machinery with moving parts

• Frequent exposure to fumes, dust, and noise

• Required to lift up to 50lbs

Work Environment:

• Maintain the highest level of safety and cleanliness

• Ensure that all documentation is correct including quantities and other records

• Work performed in a shop and office environment

• Some travel required

• Must be present in regular attendance and have a flexible work schedule

• Ensures compliance with legal and company ordinances in his/her areas of responsibility

• Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, etc.

• Keeps his/her standard of knowledge up-to-date in his/her area of responsibility through continuing education measures
