    About the College/Unit/Department: The University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel is a hub for non-credit professional and continuing education courses. We are looking for motivated and team-oriented individuals to contribute to UGA's mission of Public Service and Outreach.

    Employment Type: Employee (Not Benefits Eligible)

    A temporary employee may not exceed a total of 1,300 hours worked in a 12- consecutive month period. The 1,300 hours can be accumulated in any combination during the 12-month period. Once a temporary employee has worked 1,300 hours or has been employed for twelve consecutive months, whichever comes first, the temporary employee must have a break in service of twenty-six consecutive weeks. Employment applies across all USG institutions.

    Additional Schedule Information:

    • 30-40 hours per week with availability of hours dependent on volume of business
    • Flexible schedule required
    • Morning hours available (between 6:00am and 3:00pm)
    • Weekend and holiday availability may be required

    Advertised Salary: Starting at $14.00/hour, Commensurate with Experience and Availability

    Duties/Responsibilities: As a Banquet Service Staff Member, you will be responsible for:

    • Setting tables as needed
    • Serving customers in the banquet area
    • Serving coffee breaks
    • Assisting in various food outlets
    • Catering outside functions
    • Performing other customer service functions as needed

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Customer service experience preferred.

    Physical Demands:
