Supervisor of Continuing Education - The Supervisor plans and coordinates community-based enrichment programs for youth and adults for the district and surrounding communities and is knowledgeable in the adult education mandated courses (ESL, high school completion, ABE, Citizenship). The position is responsible for seeking new enrichment courses, instructor recruitment, marketing/social media/website, day-to-day office operations such as, but not limited to answering phones, registration entry, and deposits.
Qualifications: Demonstrates working knowledge of customer service, administrative assistance and basic bookkeeping skills. Knowledge should be supplemented by strong technology skills including desktop publishing programs. Position requires enthusiasm, creativity and self-motivation. Individuals should be able to demonstrate organization, planning and coordination under general direction and supervision. Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary to present information clearly and to communicate with staff and customers. The position requires high confidentiality.
Candidate should hold a bachelor's degree or formal training in adult education or related field.
Candidate should have prior experience as an executive assistant, administrative assistant, office manager or similar experience.
Candidate should demonstrate skills related to budget and accounts payable.
Candidate should exhibit a high degree of professionalism and ability to work collaboratively with others and the public.

References that indicate the candidate possesses superior organizational skills.
Evidence that the candidate possesses superior computer skills.
Evidence of various life and work experiences that contribute to the candidate’s overall sophistication and preparedness.
Salary: $50,000-$60,000 depending on education and experience
Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, with occasional night/Saturday requirements
Reports to: Supervised and evaluated by the Farmington Continuing Education Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities:
Mechanical Operations
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, InDesign, Canva, Eleyo
Proficient in the ability to use accounting software (BudgetSense).
Responsibilities
Plans and organizes work according to established or standard business office procedures.
Recruits new instructors and course offerings.
Eleyo database management and maintenance which includes class set-up, registrations, building use, and refunds.
Maintain and update FCE website (www.fpsct.org/fce)
Create course catalogs, flyers and weekly email blasts using InDesign and Canva. Includes Press releases and other marketing strategies.
Draft, edit and manage FCE catalog (winter/spring, fall and summer)
Order program and office supplies.
Input weekly requisitions into BudgetSense as well as input of vendor information.
Prepare deposits using a check scanner, process credit cards, and daily/monthly activity reconciliation using Eleyo and BudgetSense.
Prepare month end documents including bank reconciliation for FCE Coordinator.
Coordinate FIRST LEGO League Jr. course offerings with the LEGO Coordinator and area districts (including management and distribution of chrome books, LEGO kits and supplies)
Multicultural Arts Programs (school year “sister” and Saturday) - coordinate with Program Manager, contracts, busing, registrations and rosters.
Facilitation of Farmington Ski Club programs (elementary & middle schools)
Facilitate IAR Musical with music director including cast, costumes and performance tickets.
Youth Program Guide development and distribution (winter/spring, fall and summer)
Attend webinars, workshops and events regarding adult education programming, marketing efforts and state and local program policies.
Maintains employee, independent contractor, and credit card confidentiality.
Adult education programs (ESL, ABE, High School Completion and Citizenship) - assist with registrations, student inquiries, data entry into LACES, GED registration test site.
Coordinates summer youth programming - Suzuki strings, band camp, theater, lego, food explorers and other new enrichment camps.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Coordinator of Continuing Education.
