Job duties
Uphold the vision and culture in the dance studio
Mentor students and parents
Handle difficult conversations regarding progression
Teaching within the competition program
Costume management and ordering
Over see competition team teachers
Attend all competitions
Make the yearly class schedule
Team placements at audition
Facilitate auditions
Teacher training and accountability
Direction of monthly technical focus
Set event schedule
Work with Studio Director to set the class schedule
Marketing, growth and retention of the competition program
Book outside choreography
Work with comp admin to ensure deadlines are being met and information is current and accessible.
You must be driven by continued education and have a strong knowledge of what a dancer's body needs to advance safely.
