Continuing Education Planner - Higher Ed. jobs in Fresno, CA

Tiello has partnered with a highly successful Public Works/DSA General Contractor in the Fresno, CA on their search for an experienced Lead Superintendent to work on DSA / Higher Education projects up to $50 Million here in the Fresno, CA area.

The company representative will serve as the company's point of contact both with the client and with the construction team when required. You will engage in and influence the safety culture and have the authority to make decisions on the General Contractor's behalf about such items as cost and schedule.

Title: Lead Superintendent (6 years)

Project Types: Educational, DSA, Civic, Institutional, Higher Education, K-12

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Able to perform all essential Superintendent job responsibilities
• Oversee the daily operation of construction projects
• Attend and participate in Safety Training Program and enforce safety procedures
• Prepare and maintain responsibility for CPM job schedule
• Develop Owner and Architect’s confidence and attend Owner meetings as required
• Review all drawings, specifications and subcontractor submittals
• Chair and/or attend ongoing subcontractor meetings
• Assure work quality - set standards for quality control
• Order materials and tools and plan supply allotment to maintain a schedule
• Prepare necessary reports (e.g. timesheets, work orders, daily reports, and invoice approval)
• Document and complete all punch lists in a timely manner
• Organize, train, direct and coordinate field construction team including those of subcontractors
• Verify subcontractor certificates of insurance
• Perform start-up testing and turnover to Owner

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years of experience as a Lead Superintendent focused directly in the Public Works/Higher Education sector with a priority working ground-up projects.
• Strong work ethic, team player with strong attention to details and ability to work independently
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, mathematical and sound judgment skills

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
