    The Financial Assistance Planner is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to students and the schools by serving the students in the Financial Aid packaging and verification process.

    Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
    • Provide excellent customer service.
    • Package future and re-enter students contracted to attend Empire Beauty School.
    • Package active students that cross over into a new award year.
    • Provide accurate and timely financial packages.
    • Responsible for knowing the verification process in relationship to obtaining a valid (payable) ISIR.
    • Respond to all requests for exceptional consideration regarding financial aid matters including professional judgments, reinstatement of financial aid, expense processing, etc.
    • Maintain current knowledge of all federal and state regulations with particular emphasis on packaging and verification.

    Pay rate for this position is $19.00 per hour based on experience, hours, and location.

    Requirements:

    • 1-2 years of relevant experience
    • Experience with financial assistance and Title IV preferred
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office and web-based applications
