Ensures that contract renewal dates are tracked and that applicable renewal documents are generated and processed. Additionally, Contracts Administration Clerk maintains contract records used to ensure compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Contracts Administration Clerk works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.     Duties will include, but may not be limited to the following:

    • Assist Recruiter and Nurse Managers with administrative support functions related to Nurse Recruitment and staffing incentives including but not limited to: reference checks, data entry in position management databases, creating recruitment flyers and packets.
    • Maintains documentation of Nursing Staff timekeeping processes for internal and external audits.
    • Facilitates timekeeping processes and corrective actions across the facility for all nurse managers and others to ensure accurate daily posting of time and timely submission of timecards each pay period.
    • Performs various office administrative functions such as: records management, creating reports, forms control, and administrative standing operating procedures. Performs backup coverage for the secretary to the ADPNS as needed.
    • Uses computer principles and programs (Microsoft, Electronic Mail, Word, Excel, etc.) and various databases.

    Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

    Qualifications

    To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

    GS-04 grade level: One year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-03 grade level in the federal service); experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA's) and other characteristics to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled, in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience requires one year of progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.

    Applicants may substitute education for the experience required for the GS-04 level: Successfully completed two years of education above the high school level in any field for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite.

    Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at the GS-04 level: Equivalent combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.
